How to Livestream as an Affiliate?
Starting Your Stream
Livestream Key Essentials | |
Camera Quality | Ensure your phone has a high-quality camera |
Stable Set-up | Use a tripod to stabilize your phone, and ensure it’s elevated enough (eye or face level). Ensure that you also have good lighting to make the stream more visually attractive |
Wifi Connection | Stable internet connection is crucial. Have a backup line if possible |
Starting a Stream |
Step 1: Go to profile tab and select “Live Streaming”
Step 2: Click on “Create Stream”
Step 3: Add title, description & cover image
Step 4: Add products to stream
Step 5: Rearrange products or edit details
Step 6: Make sure that you’re adding AFFILIATE ITEMS in your orange bag
Note: Items inside your Orange Bag must have visible commission rates to signify that these are affiliate items.
General Do’s and Don’ts
DO’S | DON’T’S |
Be ready for your live stream 30-min ahead of your slot | If you have told your fans you are live streaming at a certain time, don’t be late for your session |
New prices, vouchers and other mechanics to be locked in 24-hours before streaming | Don’t purchase coins and vouchers last minute when they can’t be transferred to your account |
Do a dry run and test on camera angles, lightings, volume etc. | Don’t film in a loud environment without proper lighting or sunlight and poor WiFi |
Smile, interact and remind viewers to click on the shopping bag icon to purchase your products | Don’t use the front view camera to show the item for more than 15 minutes |
Have a backup plan and a helper to make the process easier for you | Don’t prepare your stream at the last minute and forget to bring enough products and vouchers |
