Shopee VIP is currently in its beta phase, which means it is being gradually rolled out to select users. We are continuously fine-tuning the experience and welcome feedback to help us make this feature even better.


Q: How do I subscribe to Shopee VIP?

A: Go to Me > Shopee VIP in the Shopee app and select Subscribe. Confirm payment using your ShopeePay PIN or facial verification. Once successful, you’ll see a confirmation pop-up and your benefits will be active right away.


Q: Do I need ShopeePay to subscribe?

A: Yes. You must have an active and verified ShopeePay account for payment authentication.


Q: Can I choose a different plan?

A: Shopee VIP only has a 1-month plan at ₱99. New members may enjoy a special discounted price at ₱49 for the first month.


Q: Which payment methods are accepted?
A: You can pay using any of the following methods, Shopee will use your selected payment method for each renewal.

  • ShopeePay

  • SPayLater

  • MariBank

  • Credit/Debit Card

  • Linked Bank


Q: What is the Payment Sequence for Shopee VIP?

A: The payment sequence means that if payment from your preferred payment method fails, Shopee will try your other linked payment methods one by one until the subscription fee is successfully charged to avoid interruption of VIP benefits.


Q: Can I change my payment method later?

A: To change your payment method, go to ShopeePay Settings > Linked Services > Preferred Payment Methods to update your payment preferences.


Q: When will I be billed for my subscription?

A: Your billing date is the same date you subscribed every month. For example, if you subscribed on October 15, your next billing will be on November 15.


Q: What if my payment fails on renewal?

A: If Shopee cannot charge your registered payment methods, your subscription will be cancelled, and your VIP perks will end. You can resubscribe anytime after fixing your payment method.


Q: Can I cancel Shopee VIP anytime?

A: Your subscription at any time through Me > Shopee VIP and scroll to the bottom of the page, after Terms & Conditions, to find the Cancel Subscription button. Just make sure you cancel at least 1 day before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month. You’ll still enjoy your VIP benefits until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your perks will no longer apply.


Q: Can I combine VIP vouchers with other vouchers or promos?

A: You cannot stack VIP vouchers with other platform-wide discount vouchers. You can stack VIP perks with shop vouchers, payment promos, and Shopee Coins.


Q: Who can use the ₱249 MariBank/SeaBank voucher?

A: This voucher is only for first-time Shopee VIP subscribers who have never used MariBank as a payment method.


Q: Can I save unused vouchers for the next month?

A: VIP vouchers and benefits expire at the end of your billing cycle if unused. They do not carry over to the next month.


Q: Can multiple accounts share one VIP subscription?

A: VIP privileges are non-transferable and tied to the specific Shopee account that subscribed.
