How do I increase my Credit Limit manually?

Eligible SPayLater and SLoan users can apply for a temporary credit limit increase by submitting additional supporting documents. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you'll receive a notification confirming your increased credit limit.


You can check the expiration date of your temporary credit limit increase by selecting your available credit on the SPayLater or SLoan homepage, or by viewing the notification confirming your approved increase.

  • No waiting – Request a credit limit increase when you need it

  • Convenient – Submit requirements directly from your phone



Qualifications for a Manual Credit Limit Increase

Currently, this feature is only available to selected users. If you do not see the Credit Limit Increase option, continue using SPayLater or SLoan and maintain good repayment behavior, such as consistently paying on time, to improve your chances of becoming eligible.


You may not be able to access this feature for the following reasons:

  • Application already submitted – Your credit limit increase request is currently under review.

  • Previously not qualified – Your earlier application may not have been approved. Continue using your credit products responsibly to become eligible again in the future.



How to request an increase in your SPayLater and SLoan Credit?

Go to SPayLater or SLoan Homepage > Get Higher Credit Limit > Enter your Salary Amount and Payroll Frequency > Select your Employment Type > Choose a Document Type (only one document is required) > Upload the document > Submit Application.

The name on your submitted document must match the name in your account or application.

PDF is the only accepted file type for document submissions with the maximum file size of 20MB.

 


Accepted Documents:

Document Type

Submitted Document Should Include

BIR 2316

· Employee name

· Employer name

· TIN

· Declared year or “For the Year” field

· Income information 

· Employer signature

· Complete form pages and details

· Please submit the latest filing.

Certificate of Employment (COE)

· Employee name

· Employer or company name

· Employer or company logo, if available

· Issue date

· Employment start date

· Salary or compensation amount

· Salary currency

· Employer signature, including computer-generated signature if officially issued by the company

· Company contact details or official letterhead, if available

· Submitted COE should have been issued within the last 3 months

Payslips

· Employee name

· Employer or company name

· Company logo, if available

· Pay period or cutoff period

· Payment date, if available

· Gross income, net pay, or salary amount

· Deductions, if applicable

· Currency, preferably PHP

· Complete payslip details in a standard payslip format

· Please submit the latest 3 months of payslips or the required number of recent payslips shown in the app

Bank Statements

· Bank name

· Bank logo, if available

· Account holder name

· Account number

· Recent transaction details

· Statement period or statement date

· Complete pages of the statement, if the statement has multiple pages

· Please submit your official bank statement for the most recent period.


For a smoother application process, make sure to avoid submitting non-accepted documents such as:

  • Account balance or transaction history screenshots

  • Manually created or informal documents

  • Freelance Contracts and other contract documents

  • Invoices or transfer receipts

  • Documents denominated or calculated in foreign currency

  • Documents with signs of tampering

  • Outdated documents

  • Documents that are blurry, unreadable, or cropped

  • Document submitted are insufficient

  • Documents with missing or incomplete details, such as:

    • Account Holder or Employee Name

    • Salary Details (for payslips and COEs)

    • Issue Date

    • Bank Details (for bank statements)

    • Employer Details (for payslips and COEs)

    • Declared Year (BIR 2316)

 

⚠️ Note 

If you have already successfully increased your credit limit, the option will no longer be available. You may request once again after the current credit limit increase has expired.
