Yes, you’ll need to ask the sender to share the Shopee Gift Card code with you. 

The sender/buyer can navigate to Me > Digital Purchase > To Receive/Completed > Lifestyle in the Shopee app to view their purchase. Select the purchased Shopee Gift Card > scroll down the Order Details page > select Share Gift Card Code > select preferred social media network.
