Q: Why can’t I see SPayLater on my app?

A: SPayLater is available only to selected Shopee users.

 

Q: Why can't I complete my SPayLater application? Why does Error 22 appear?  

A: Error 22 affects some Android devices without Google Play services, preventing access to facial verification. 

 

If you downloaded Shopee via Google Play or still have Google Play, try these steps:

1. Update Google Play services.  

2. Complete the facial verification.  

3. If it doesn’t work, wait 10 minutes, ensure you're connected to the internet, then restart the device and retry Step 2.

 

Android users without Google Play services cannot complete SPayLater applications. We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify you when the feature becomes available for all devices.

 

Q: How do I pay the late fee for SPayLater?

A: The late payment penalty is 2.5%–5% per month on the outstanding loan and interest. To pay, check your bill on the SPayLater main page and tap “Pay Now”.

 

You won't be able to use SPayLater at checkout until your bill is cleared. Persistent delays may also lower your credit limit.

 

Late payments can lead to:

  • Account freezing

  • Restricted voucher use

  • A record of late payments

 

Q: When is my order considered Complete?

A: Your order is complete when you select “Order Received” in the app or when it’s automatically completed after the Shopee Returns Windows expires.

 

Q: Can I change the billing date?

A: We currently don’t support changing billing dates, but we are exploring this for the future.

 

Q: Why is my payment not reflected on my SPayLater account?

A: Payments made through certain Payment Centers may experience delays. Please wait a few minutes and check again if your payment has been processed. Late postings may result in additional fees on your SPayLater account. To avoid this, always pay at least two days before your due date when using Payment Centers.

 

Q: How do I increase my credit limit?

A: Your SPayLater credit limit increases automatically with consistent on-time payments. Keep using SPayLater and paying your bill promptly for greater benefits ahead.

 

Q: Is my SPayLater bill affected by the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act? 

A:The Bayanihan to Recover as One Act provides a one-time, 60-day grace period for loans availed before September 15, 2020, with due dates between September 15 and December 31, 2020. This grace period does not apply to new loans after the Act's implementation.

 

SPayLater billings are not affected, as they were availed after September 15. However, if the Act is reimplemented or extended, existing bills may become eligible for the grace period.
