You may try to cancel your booking through the Shopee app. Go to Me tab > Digital Purchase > To Receive > Travel to be able to see the bookings that are yet to be claimed.
Select the order or hotel booking that you want to cancel > scroll down and select the Cancel Reservation button > choose the reason for cancellation > Continue with Cancellation > select Yes, Cancel.
Go to Me tab > Digital Purchase > Cancelled > Travel to check if your hotel booking has been successfully canceled.
If you are eligible for a refund, please ensure that your ShopeePay wallet is activated. Refunds for all available payment methods (except credit/debit card and SPayLater) will be credited to your ShopeePay wallet within an estimated 7-10 working days. To check on the status of your possible refund, go to Me tab > Digital Purchase > Refund > Travel.
⚠️Note • All cancellations made within the free cancellation period will not incur any penalty charges. • Cancellations made past free cancellation periods or non-refundable bookings may incur a penalty fee, subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. • You cannot cancel on the day of your check-in date. • If you wish to cancel on the day of your check-in date/non-refundable bookings due to special reasons, you may reach out to our Customer Service for assistance. You can check on the cancellation policy on the Booking Details page > select the (i) icon.
You’ll see green text displayed for bookings that include a free cancellation period, this will also display the date until when the period is applicable.
However, for non-refundable bookings, red text will be displayed.
