Possible cancellation reasons to be considered include:

1. Unforeseen changes in government travel requirements: Any unexpected changes to visa or passport requirements by government or governmental agencies that prevent travel to the destination. Missing or expired travel documents, as well as any other personal situations that may affect a guest's authorization to travel, will not be considered.

2. Unforeseen changes in travel restrictions imposed by Government: Any sudden restrictions prohibiting travel, staying, or returning from the destination as imposed by a government agency. Excluded from this are non-binding travel advisories, as well as any similar guidance given by the government.

3. Declarations of emergencies and/or epidemics in the area: Any area that has been suddenly declared a local or national emergency by the government. This includes areas that are affected by epidemics, pandemics, as well as public health emergencies. This does not include areas that have commonly associated diseases or endemics (i.e. malaria in Thailand). For COVID-19 lockdowns, the announcement should have been made after the hotel booking was made.  Please check the current situation of the destination country, state, province, or city, as well as the travel requirements needed before making a booking. 

4. Natural disasters: Acts of God such as earthquakes and tsunamis, floods, volcanic eruptions, mass outage of essential utilities, and other abnormal weather events. Please note that reasons such as foreseeable weather or natural conditions in the area of destination may be subject to verification, and will not guarantee any cancellations made for hotel bookings in that destination.  Please check the current situation of the destination country, state, province, or city, as well as the travel requirements needed before making a booking.

5. Acts of terror and other man-made hostilities: Military actions, acts of war, rebellion, invasions, terrorism, bombings/explosions, riots, civil disorder, and unrest.

6. Death/Illness/Death in the Family

7. Military/Jury Duty

8. Delayed/Cancelled Flight

To proceed with any non-refundable cancellations/ hotel bookings with past free cancellation periods for these circumstances, please contact our Customer Service for further assistance. Please ensure to prepare any valid proof (found below)) as well as the reason for cancellation if there will be a request in waiving cancellation fees. Please note that canceling for these reasons does not guarantee a refund, as this will be reviewed and subject to approval by the hotel/ property.
