[Cash-on-delivery] Why can't I pay by cash-on-delivery?

The cash-on-delivery (COD) payment method may be unavailable on your Shopee account due to the following reasons:


Failed COD Deliveries

COD may be suspended for 90 days if you’ve rejected COD orders or failed to receive packages after two delivery attempts within the last 90 days.


⚠️Note 

· COD reactivation occurs 90 days after the first failed COD order. Use other Shopee-supported payment methods during this time.

· If COD remains unavailable 24 hours after the suspension, try refreshing your app.

· Repeated failed deliveries may lead to permanent suspension of the COD option.


Seller Settings

The seller may not have a COD option or it may be disabled. You can request that the seller enable it, but COD is only supported by Shopee’s Integrated Couriers.


Suspicious Activity

Suspicious behavior on a COD order may restrict access. Contact Shopee Customer Service for clarification.


Non-Serviceable Address

COD availability depends on the courier’s delivery coverage.


Mixed Shipping Options

COD is unavailable when checking out multiple items with different shipping options. Ensure all items in your cart support COD. Otherwise, the COD payment option will be unavailable.
