The Courier Allocation Process is a feature in Shopee’s system that assigns the best courier based on factors like the buyer’s location, courier service areas, and couriers selected by the seller.

Listed below are the Q&As related to the update of the shipping system:

Q: Why did Shopee update its shipping system?

A: The Courier Allocation Process ensures access to the best courier services based on factors like cost and efficiency, enhancing the buyer experience with more affordable and reliable delivery.

Q: Will these changes make shipping more expensive for me?

A: Shipping costs depend on the chosen delivery service. The courier allocation process considers various factors to determine the most suitable courier.

Q:  What will I see on the App?

A: Instead of listing available couriers, the Standard shipping options will be displayed in the app based on your location. Sulit Local is for bulky items.

Q: What is the difference between Standard Local and Standard Delivery?

A: Standard Local is a delivery option in the Courier Allocation Process that assigns all Shopee Supported Logistics, while Standard Delivery refers to the general delivery method available for your order.

Q: What if I am unsatisfied with the courier assigned to my order?

A: You can change the assigned courier once within an hour after the courier is allocated, or until the seller books the order for pick-up, whichever comes first. This change is only allowed for the Standard Option and if the seller has other couriers available for your address and parcel size.

Q: How can I change the courier assigned to my order?

A: Go to Order Details > select Change button within the Shipping Information > select a different courier that can service your order.

Q: Can the Free Shipping Vouchers (FSV) still be used?

A: Yes, FSVs can still be applied subject to terms and conditions.
