Terms and Conditions for Lowest Price Guaranteed (LPG)

The following terms and conditions govern your participation in the “Lowest Prices Guaranteed” program (“Program”) by Shopee Philippines Inc. (“Shopee”) from August 10, 2025 until a date determined by Shopee and notified to Users  (“Program Period”):

 

  1. By participating in this Program, you agree unconditionally and irrevocably to be bound by, and shall be deemed to accept, these terms and conditions and any rules and regulations relating to the Program (“Terms and Conditions”), in addition to Shopee’s Terms of Service, Shopee’s Privacy Policy, Shopee’s Voucher Terms and Conditions and all applicable terms and conditions and/or Shopee policies  (“Shopee Policies”), which are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms used and not defined herein shall have the same meaning as given to such terms in the Shopee Policies.

 

  1. Only individuals with registered and valid Shopee accounts are entitled to participate in the Program.

 

  1. Shopee shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether an individual has qualified to participate in the Program.

 

  1. Qualifying participants who purchase an item from the Shopee platform with the 'Lowest Price Guaranteed' label 27b2b7f7afe34c1fbab097bc57df8826.png (at the time of purchase) within the Program Period (“Qualifying Item”) may be eligible to receive a refund in the form of Shopee Coins (“Coin Refund”) if they are (i) able to identify the same item available for sale at a lower price on the Lazada Philippines or Tiktok Philippines e-commerce platform (such platform, an “Other Platform” and such item, an “Other Platform Item") and (ii) follow the claim procedures set out in these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. Qualifying participants may apply for a Coin Refund by submitting the claim form prescribed by Shopee (“Claim Form”) at least one (1) day after placing the order, and within seven (7) days from the date of order completion (a “Claim”). Each Claim Form must be submitted together with the following documents and/or information:
    1. Shopee username;
    2. screenshot of Qualifying Item on Shopee with visible prices and the “Lowest Price Guaranteed” labels;
    3. screenshot of the Other Platform Item available on the Other Platform with visible prices;
    4. URLs of the relevant items on both Shopee and the Other Platform;
    5. Order ID in respect of the purchased Qualifying Item on Shopee;
    6. the price difference between the Qualifying Item on Shopee and the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform; and
    7. such other documents and/or information as may be required from Shopee from time to time.

 

  1. Qualifying participants are required to submit a separate Claim in respect of each order with a unique Order ID, for up to two (2) Qualifying Items per unique Order ID. Claims that do not comply with the foregoing (e.g. duplicate Claims for the same Order ID, or Claims that cover more than two (2) Qualifying Items) will be deemed invalid.

 

  1. Shopee shall have the sole and absolute discretion in determining whether to approve any submitted Claim. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Shopee may reject a Claim in the following situations:
    1. Qualifying Item and Other Platform Item are not identical in respect of the specifications listed below:
      1. Variation – colour, size, model year, condition (brand new, pre-owned), year of expiry
      2. Warranty validation period (e.g. 1 year / 2 year)
      3. Brand Name
      4. Seller Type (Brand Official Store, Mall, Non-Mall, Direct from Platform)
      5. Seller Origin (Local, Overseas)

For the avoidance of doubt, where the relevant Qualifying Item is a product bundle, this requirement applies for all products within the bundle.

    1. Qualifying Item and Other Platform Item must be authentic and part of a legitimate listing. Claims for any counterfeit items shall be deemed invalid.
    2. The price references for the Qualifying Item and/or Other Platform Item are not in Philippine Peso (PHP).
    3. Shopee determines that the price of the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform was not lower than the price of the Qualifying Item on Shopee at the time of purchase. In determining this, Shopee will refer to the regular promotion price only of the Qualifying Item (including the effect of using any Shopee vouchers and seller vouchers) and the regular promotion price of the Other Platform Item, (excluding the effect of any vouchers, cashback coins, shipping charges, shipping discounts and additional discounts borne by the Other Platform.
    4. Other Platform Item is no longer in stock or not available for purchase at a lower price on the Other Platform at the time Shopee conducts its validation.
    5. The order for the Qualifying Item is cancelled or otherwise not completed.

 

  1. In the event of a successful Claim, the Qualifying Participant shall receive a Coin Refund equal in value to 120% of the price difference between the Qualifying Item on Shopee and the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform at the time of purchase, subject to a cap of 1,000 coins per user per month. For the avoidance of doubt, such a cap shall apply for the entire Claim, and not for each Qualifying Item covered by such claim. Each Qualifying Participant shall only be entitled to a maximum of 3 successful Claims per week under the Program.

 

  1. Shopee shall endeavor to process all Claims within 2-3 weeks from submission, and shall notify users of the outcome via in-app Shopee notifications. Coin Refunds for successful Claims will be credited within 5 working days of Claim status confirmation. The provision of any Coin Refunds is subject to the completion of the relevant order for the Qualifying Item, and Shopee reserves the right to revoke any Coin Refund in the event that such order is cancelled or otherwise not completed.

 

  1. The prices of Qualifying Items which are also under the Siguradong Mura Promo can be further discounted with the Discount under the Siguradong Mura Promotion upon checkout, subject to the Siguradong Mura Promotion Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms and Conditions shall still apply to Qualifying Items also under the Siguradong Mura Promo, including the claim procedures above, and the price difference for Claims for these items shall be calculated based on the final price paid by the Shopee user after the application of all vouchers and discounts on Shopee and the price of the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform upon time of purchase, subject to a cap of 1,000 coins per user per month.

 

  1. By participating in the Program, you agree:
    1. to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when participating in the Program;
    2. to comply with the Shopee Policies;
    3. to not participate in the Program in any manner which may adversely affect other individuals or the goodwill or reputation of Shopee; and
    4. that Shopee may use your personal data (including your name and photo) for the purposes of conducting and administering the Program in accordance with the Shopee Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Any Coin Refunds received are not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or any items.

 

  1. Employees of Shopee are not allowed to participate in this Program.

 

  1. Shopee reserves the right to make final decisions and resolve disputes regarding the Program. Shopee may disqualify an individual from the Program and/or to take any other action pursuant to the Shopee Policies if Shopee determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that an individual has violated these Terms and Conditions or breached Shopee Policies.

 

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shopee shall not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this Program. Shopee shall also not be liable to fulfill any obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances or events occurring beyond its control.

 

  1. Shopee reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions without notice, or withdraw or discontinue the Program at any time without any notice or liability to any party.  You agree to keep yourself updated on all amendments, and your continued participation after any amendments shall be deemed your acceptance of such changes.

 

  1. You shall be responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, government fees and other charges arising due to your participation in the Program, unless otherwise notified to you by Shopee.

 

  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any marketing or Program materials/communications, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

 

Shopee reserves the exclusive right to explain and interpret these Program Terms. Shopee, and not any third party, shall address any claims related to the Program.
