Q: Why can’t I see the SLoan feature on my app?

A: SLoan is currently available to selected users only. To enjoy SLoan's features and benefits, please ensure that your Shopee App is updated to the latest version from the App Store.

 


Q: Will I be charged when I activate my SLoan?

A: No, you will not be charged when you activate your SLoan. Fees are applicable only for the successful disbursement of SLoan. Learn more about the fees related to SLoan.


Q: How can I deactivate my SLoan? 

A:  Once you have successfully activated your SLoan account, you will not be able to remove this feature from your App. You may choose not to use the SLoan feature once it is activated.


Q: What should I do if I encounter problems with SLoan?

A: Make sure that your Shopee App is updated to the latest version from the App Store. If you have more questions or concerns, kindly contact our Shopee Customer Service.

 


Q: Is my SLoan’s bill affected by the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act? 

A: The Bayanihan to Recover as One Act is a one-time nationwide 60-day grace period that shall cover loans availed before September 15, 2020, and with due dates falling from September 15, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The grace period cannot be granted to any new loans availed after the implementation of the Act.

 

All SLoan billings will not be affected by the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act as the loans will have been availed after September 15th, 2020. However, for any reimplementation or extension of the Act in the future, already existing bills will be eligible for the grace period.

 


Q: What should I do if my SLoan account is frozen?

A: Your SLoan account is frozen because you have an outstanding bill that still needs to be settled. To reactivate your account, please settle your outstanding balance. Once that balance is fully paid, the account will be reactivated within 24-48 hours.

 

Please note that late payments can result in a frozen SLoan account and restrict your access to other credit products in Shopee, such as your SPayLater account. Learn how to repay your SLoan bill.

 


Q: I can see the SLoan feature but I can’t activate or apply for a loan.

A: Listed below are the common reasons:

  1. You have an outstanding overdue amount in one or more credit facilities, such as your SPayLater account. Kindly settle your outstanding overdue amount to be able to withdraw. Please note that late payments can result in freezing your SLoan account and restrict your access to other credit facilities in Shopee, such as your SPayLater account. 
  2. Your remaining credit limit is below the minimum loan amount of Php 1,000.
  3. Your ShopeePay wallet balance is going to go over the monthly inflow limit of Php 50,000. To proceed with your withdrawal, you may verify your ShopeePay account.
  4. Your ShopeePay wallet balance is reaching the maximum daily amount of Php 50,000. To proceed with your withdrawal, you may verify your ShopeePay account.

 


Q: Can I request a payment extension for my SLoan bill?

A: Payment extension cannot be accommodated on your SLoan bill. Kindly note that If you cannot repay on or before the due date, the loan installment will become overdue. Once it is overdue, your account will be frozen and your access to other credit products, such as SPayLater, will be restricted.
