A Guide to Shopee Live Discovery
Discovery Entry Points are the different areas within the Shopee app where users can easily find and explore livestreams. These entry points make livestreams more visible by allowing users to browse live content without having to search for a specific shop or product.
Understanding these entry points helps users to:
Discover new products and sellers through ongoing livestreams
Find livestreams while browsing different sections of the Shopee app
Access livestreams without needing to search for a specific shop or product
Shopee Home page
On the Shopee homepage, users can browse and enter livestreams through the following: (A) Coins Rewards, (B) Shopee Live, (C) DD Banner, (D) DD Live Card, (E) Live & Video, (F) Notifications, (G) Me, and (H) Pop-up Banner.
A. Coins Rewards
B. Shopee Live
In the Shopee Live entry point, users can enter and browse livestreams through the (1) Live Card and (2) See More.
Live Card
Users can tap the Live Card to enter a livestream and continue browsing through the Following entry point.
See More
Users can tap See More (>) to enter and browse livestreams through the (a) For You Page and (b) Discover Page.
a. For You Page
The For You page shows livestreams recommended to users based on their algorithm.
b, Discover Page
The Discover page provides three entry points for users to enter livestreams.
When users enter a livestream from the Discover page, they can continue browsing livestreams through the Following entry point.
C. DD Banner and D. DD Live Card
The DD Banner and DD Live Card are entry points displayed on the Shopee homepage, and users can tap them to instantly join livestreams.
D. Live & Video
In the Live & Video tab, users can enter and browse livestreams through the (1) For You page and (2) Live page.
For You Page
The For You page shows livestreams recommended to users based on their algorithm.
Live Page
The Live page provides two entry points for users to enter livestreams.
When users watch a livestream from the Live page, they can continue browsing livestreams through the Explore entry point.
F. Notifications
In the Notifications tab, users can tap a notification to enter a livestream directly.
G. Me
In the Me tab, users can access the Voucher Wallet, which directs them to the Discover page.
H. Pop-up Banner
On the Shopee homepage, users can tap the pop-up banner entry point to join a livestream.
Note: Pop-up banners may also appear on the Discover Page and the For You Page in the Live & Video tab.
External Entry Points
Users can also join livestreams through external entry points: (A) Auto App Streaming and (B) Push Notification.
A. Auto App Streaming
Upon opening the Shopee application, users can join a livestream when it automatically appears.
B. Push Notification
Users can join a livestream directly by tapping a push notification on their device.
