What’s In-App Chat with SPX Rider?

You can now message your rider via Shopee App. There are 3 ways to do so: (1) through PNs, (2) through Driver’s card in the Shipping Information page (3) and chatlist.

Q: Should I start using the in-app chat to communicate with the rider?

A: Yes, select buyers may use the in-app chat as the main mode of communication with your SPX rider.

 

Q: Should I message the rider first?

A: Yes, you may message the rider throughout the day. Please check your PNs / messages regularly and reply in a polite and timely manner.

 

Q: Why is SPX using the in-app chat?

A: SPX is here to assist you! Right now, our riders use WhatsApp or make calls for communication, but that info isn't connected to the driver app. We're working on integrating an in-app chat that lets buyers share info directly with your driver app.

 

Q: Will the chats be monitored?

A: Yes, SPX has a built-in monitoring tool to track chat interactions and messages. This helps us enhance the feature and pinpoint where we can improve our service. Plus, if there are any disagreements between you and the rider, the in-app chat will give us a better understanding of the situation.

 

Q: Who can use this in-app chat feature?
A: As of now, only select hubs are included in the pilot test for this feature: 

  • Las Pinas Hub (NCR)

  • Muntinlupa Hub (NCR)

  • Valenzuela Hub (NCR)

  • Marikina Hub

  • Rizal Hub (SWL)

  • Santa Cruz Hub (SWL)
