SPayLater – Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) is a feature of SPayLater that lets you shop on Shopee and conveniently pay for all of your checkouts on your next due date. Now, you can convert your Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) purchases into installments at no extra cost for easier expense management.
Convert BNPL to Installment
Go to SPayLater in the app > Scroll down and select Convert into Installment > Select your BNPL transaction > Next > Review the installment amount > Choose a payment term > Check the monthly breakdown (excluding processing fees) > Confirm.
You may confirm the BNPL Convert in the Transactions page and look for items tagged as CONVERTED.
⚠️Note • Conversion to installments is only available for SPayLater transactions. • Changes in interests and fees shall apply given the new installment transaction. Promotional interests may not carry-over. • BNPL transactions can only be converted if they are not yet marked as Order Completed. • Review your transactions carefully before confirming. Once converted, you cannot revert back to BNPL. |

Q: Where and how can I convert BNPL transactions?
A: Go to SPayLater Homepage or Transaction Page > select Convert into Installment.
Q: Can I convert my SLoan or any transaction into an installment?
A: No, only SPayLater BNPL transactions that are not marked as Order Completed can be converted. This feature is currently exclusive to SPayLater originated orders only.
Q: How long does BNPL conversion take, and how will I know if it’s successful?
A: It happens in real-time, and you'll receive a confirmation notification.
Q: Why can’t I convert a transaction?
A: You have no eligible BNPL transactions at this time. Your BNPL transaction amount should be above Php 1.00, and the transaction status should NOT yet be Order Completed.
Q: Can I partially convert a BNPL transaction?
A: No, the entire transaction must be converted.
Q: Can I change back my installment to BNPL?
A: No, once you have converted your SPayLater BNPL to installment, you cannot revert back to BNPL.
