SPayLater lets you shop on Shopee and pay your total amount on a scheduled due date. But if you need more time to pay, you can switch eligible SPayLater purchases to a longer payment plan to better manage your expenses.
Switch to a longer payment plan
Go to SPayLater in the Shopee app > Scroll down and select Convert into Installment > Choose the transaction you’d like to change > Select Next > Review the updated payment amount > Choose a payment tenure > Check the payment breakdown (processing fees not included) > Select Confirm.

Once completed, you can view the updated transaction on the Transactions page. Converted items will be tagged as Converted.

A: You currently don’t have any eligible SPayLater transactions. Your transaction amount should be above Php 1.00.
Q: Can I partially switch a transaction to a longer payment plan?
A: No. The full transaction amount must be switched.
Q: Can I change back to the original payment setup after switching?
A: No. Once you switch a transaction to a longer payment plan, the change is final and can’t be undone.
Q: Will I be notified once my transaction is successfully switched?
A: Yes. You’ll receive a notification confirming the change.
Q: Can I request a refund after switching to a longer payment plan?
A: Yes. Refunds are still allowed even after switching to a longer payment plan.
Q: What payment duration options are available?
A: Available payment durations may include 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on your current SPayLater eligibility and available options.
Q: What happens to my promotional or 0% interest rate after switching?
A: Promotional or 0% interest rates may no longer apply. Updated interest rates and fees will depend on the payment duration you select.
Q: Until when can I switch my transaction to a longer payment plan?
A: You can switch eligible transactions at any time before the due date.
Q: Can I switch both “Before Order Received” and “After Order Received” transactions at the same time?
A: Yes. You may switch both at once, but they will remain as separate transactions after the change.
Q: Can I switch a transaction if today is the due date?
A: No. Transactions can’t be switched on or after the due date.
