What is Digital Product Subscription?

Digital Product Subscription is a new in-app feature that lets you set up recurring payments for mobile top-ups. With a one-time authorization, you can choose your preferred payment method and frequency, and Digital Product will automatically process payments on your scheduled date.


For new subscription users

From the Shopee homepage, go to Load, Bills & Travel > View All > Add Subscription (+) > Choose Buy Load or Buy Promo > Check the Carrier and Phone Number > Choose your preferred telco product> Confirm > Select the Frequency and Date > Confirm > Tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions.

After you set your subscription details, select your payment method:

Set Payment Method > Get Started > Review the Payment Sequence > Confirm > Enter your ShopeePay PIN.

⚠️Note

You can arrange your payment sequence based on your preference. Go to  ShopeePay’s Me tab > Settings > ShopeePay Linked Services > Preferred Payment Methods > Edit > Drag to reorder the payment channels > Save.

Users only need to authorize their payment sequence once for Digital Products subscriptions.

Payments will be deducted following the set sequence.

Some categories do not support SPayLater, credit cards, or debit cards; unsupported methods will be skipped automatically.

Make sure SPayLater is activated and toggled on if you plan to use it.

SPayLater Payment Term for Digital Product Subscription is currently limited to “Buy Now Pay Later” at a 3.95% interest rate.

Coins cannot be used when paying Telco Subscription.


Once your subscription order is successful, you’ll receive an in-app notification and an email confirmation. It will also appear in the transaction history of the payment method used, according to your set sequence.



Editing your subscription

Go to the My Subscriptions > Select the subscription > Update the Payment Method & Sequence and Frequency as preferred.

⚠️Note

Any changes to the payment sequence will apply to all subscriptions.



Cancelling your subscription

Existing subscriptions can be cancelled at least 2 days before the next start date.


Example: 

For a Load 20 - Weekly every Wednesday subscription

Cancellation must be done on or before Monday. Cancelling on Tuesday means the transaction will still process on Wednesday, and the cancellation will take effect the following week.


To cancel a subscription, go to the My Subscription > Select subscription > Trash bin icon > Read the cancellation message carefully > Yes > Choose your cancellation reason > Confirm.
