Credit Card Installment Plan Terms and Conditions

Effective from August 31, 2026, Sellers will be charged a Credit Card Instalment Transaction Fee according to different tenures.

  1. Credit Card Installment Plan ("CCI Plan") is an alternative payment method offered to Buyers on the Shopee platform in the Philippines and is facilitated by Shopee and participating acquiring banks in the Philippines.
  2. As a Seller, your continued participation in the CCI Plan signifies your acceptance and acknowledgment of these Terms and Conditions. You may opt out at any time through Seller Centre or the Shopee App.
  3. Your participation in the CCI Plan is further subject to the Shopee Philippines Terms of Service and other applicable policies. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Shopee Terms of Service.
  4. The CCI Transaction Fee is inclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT).
  5. All CCI Transaction Fees payable by you under the CCI Plan will be affected by setting off against any funds/sales proceeds in your Seller Balance. Shopee may, at its discretion, withhold any outstanding amounts payable to you or issue you an invoice for payment, and you shall pay such invoiced amounts to Shopee within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the invoice.
  6. The CCI Transaction Fee charged under the CCI Plan is not interest charged by Shopee.
  7. Shopee may, at its sole discretion, suspend, delay, or discontinue the CCI Plan at any time for any reason, or revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  8. For the avoidance of doubt, opting out of the CCI Plan (however occasioned) shall not affect:

      (i) any rights, remedies, obligations, or liabilities of the parties that have accrued up to the date of termination, including the right to claim damages for any breach existing at or before the date of termination; or

      (ii) the continued effect of any provision of these Terms and Conditions that is expressly or by implication intended to survive termination.

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any dispute, controversy, claim, or difference arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or against or relating to Shopee shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set out in the Shopee Philippines Terms of Service.
