[ShopeePay] How do I verify my ShopeePay account?

⚠️ Note
Existing non-verified users who have not provided additional information will have limited access and will only be able to view the wallet page and account balance.

 

Keep Access to Your ShopeePay Wallet

To keep your ShopeePay access active, ensure your information is accurate and complete. You may:

Option 1: Upload a valid ID and fill in your personal details.

Option 2: If you don't have a valid ID, provide the following additional information:

  • Email Address

  • Place of Birth

  • Date of Birth

  • Nationality

  • Source of Funds

  • Industry

  • Occupation

  • Employer Name

  • Purpose of Opening

  • Present Address

  • Permanent Address

  • Gender

  • Income



Fully Verify Your Account

On your ShopeePay page, go to Me tab > Settings > Select Update Info > Agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy > Next >  Complete the Facial Verification > Upload your ID > Fill in required details > Confirm.

Reminders When Verifying Your Account

Steps for ShopeePay Verification

  1. Fill in your details exactly as shown on your valid ID.

  2. Upload a clear photo of your ID and a selfie while holding the same ID to help speed up the verification process.

  3. For minors (ages 13 to 17), submit the following documents via the Minor Request Form:

    • Student ID (accepted if the minor has no other valid ID

    • Latest Enrollment Form (required if Student ID is expired)

    • Parental Consent Form (signed by a parent/guardian and submitted in JPEG format)

    • Birth Certificate

    • Valid ID of parent/legal guardian

    • Proof of legal guardianship, if applicable (e.g., adoption papers)

  4. For non-citizens, select “Alien Certificate of Registration” as your ID type and upload both front and back images of the ID.

  5. If you encounter errors or issues, please try our basic troubleshooting tips to resolve them quickly.

You’ll receive a notification in the Shopee App regarding the result of your submission. If your verification is rejected, you may reapply after addressing the reason stated in the notification. For further assistance, feel free to contact Shopee Customer Service.
