[ShopeePay] How do I set up fingerprint or facial IDs for ShopeePay verification?

If your device supports fingerprint or facial recognition, you can set these as your verification methods for ShopeePay. Enjoy more seamless and secure ShopeePay transactions, without needing to input your ShopeePay PIN.
Android devices (Face Recognition Authentication)
1. Enable Fingerprint Authentication by selecting ⚙ on the ShopeePay page > PIN & Biometric > enable the toggle for Fingerprint Authentication > enter ShopeePay PIN.
iOS devices (Touch ID & Face ID)
1. Enable Touch ID by selecting ⚙ on the ShopeePay page > PIN & Biometrics > enable the toggle for Touch ID Authentication > enter ShopeePay PIN.
2. Enable Face ID by selecting ⚙ on the ShopeePay page > Setting > PIN & Biometrics > enable the toggle for Face ID > enter ShopeePay PIN.
⚠️Note · This feature is available only on devices with biometric support. If unavailable, you can use your ShopeePay PIN instead. · To disable the feature, simply toggle it off. · If biometrics are temporarily unavailable (e.g., wearing gloves or a mask), you can use your ShopeePay PIN for verification during payment. |
