The refund process may differ depending on the item/service purchased. Learn more about refunds for physical products and perishable goods.
Once the refund request is approved, the refund will be credited based on the payment method used:
Payment Method Used | When will the refund arrive? |
Credit Card/Debit Card/Google Pay | The refund will be credited to the card used within 5 to 45 business days, depending on the billing cycle of your card. |
ShopeePay, Cash-on-delivery (COD), and Other Payment Channels | The refund will be credited to your ShopeePay account within 24 to 48 hours for regular refunds, and 4 to 7 business days for partial refunds. You can then use the refund for future purchases or withdraw it after you have updated your bank account details. Learn more about refunds via ShopeePay. |
SeaBank | The refund will be credited to your SeaBank account within 24 to 48 hours for regular refunds, and 4 to 7 business days for partial refunds. |
SPayLater | For orders paid via SPayLater, the refund would be directly credited to your SPayLater wallet after processing. SPayLater funds refunded will be credited within 24 to 48 hours if it was requested within the Shopee Returns Window. For manual refunds, processing may take 5 to 7 business days. ⚠️ Note For full amount refunds, it will be reflected on your SPayLater wallet and the adjustment/s will be reflected on your future billings. For partial refunds, only the principal loan amount will be refunded to your SPayLater wallet. |
Combined payment (SPayLater + other payment methods) | The amount paid via SPayLater will be credited/refunded back to your SPayLater wallet after processing. Remaining amount paid using ShopeePay/Linked BPI account/E-wallet/COD/Online Banking will be refunded to your ShopeePay wallet. |
You will be notified via in-app notification and email once your refund is processed.
