To Open a MariBank account using the mobile number registered with your Shopee account
In the MariBank app, select Continue with Shopee > Continue > Enter your Mobile Number > Next > Enter SMS OTP > Create Password > Activate Biometrics (Optional)

For Verification Process
Log in > Continue > select Start Facial Verification and follow Facial Verification instructions > Continue.
You’ll then be asked to upload your ID for proof of identification. Select ID Type > Take ID Photo > Enter identity details (this varies depending on the selected ID Type) > Enter additional Details > Review and Agree to Terms of Service > Create and confirm Secure PIN.
⚠️Note • If you submitted an ID without an address, you have to submit an alternative proof of address. • You may choose to upload a valid (issued within 1 year) NBI Clearance or any of the following documents under your name and dated within the last 3 months: utility bills, bank statements, insurance company statements, or Pag-IBIG statement of account. • You may use your Shopee Address as your proof of address if you have completed a successful Shopee delivery to your home address. |
Once you have successfully submitted the proof of identity in the verification process, please wait for an in-app notification, email, or SMS from MariBank, confirming your application status.
You may also check your application status by logging in to your MariBank account.
Never share your MariBank account password, Secure PIN, or One-time Password (OTP) to anyone! MariBank representatives will never ask for your login credentials.
