A: As required by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, ID verification has a validity period. You will receive a push notification before your verification expires and may be asked to reverify your account.

Q: Why was my verification rejected?

A: Your verification may have been rejected for one or more of the following reasons:

  • The details you entered do not match the information on your submitted ID.

  • Your ID photo is unclear, covered, or has glare, making the information unreadable.

  • Your selfie with your ID is blurry or taken in poor lighting.

After receiving the rejection notification, address the reason stated and reapply.

Q: Can I have more than one ShopeePay wallet?

A: No. Each user is allowed only one verified ShopeePay wallet. If you already have an existing verified ShopeePay account and create another verified ShopeePay account, all duplicate verified accounts will be restricted. To continue using ShopeePay, you must retain only one verified account.
