Q: Can I refund the balance amount if the total amount of the products purchased is lower than the Shopee Gift Card?

A: No. If the total amount purchased is lower than the amount of the Shopee Gift Card, no refund will be given for the amount difference.

Q: Can I use the Shopee Gift Card Code for any item I purchase in Shopee?

A: It will depend on the type of voucher that was gifted to the recipient. There are 2 types of vouchers:

1. Shopping Voucher - Can be used to shop and pay for items from any seller on Shopee (e.g. Shopee Mall, Shopee Mart, Preferred Sellers, etc.)
2. Load, Bills, and E-Vouchers - This can be used to pay for Shopee's Digital Products (e.g. Mobile Load & Data, Bills Payments, Games, Hotels, and ShopeePay Deals).

Please note that specific product and shop exclusions may apply.

Q: The recipient can no longer use the Gift Card. Can I refund the purchase?

A: Shopee Gift Cards are non-refundable. We will only allow refunds strictly for the following reasons:

1. The value of the gift card received needs to be corrected/different from what was purchased.

2. The gift card type received is incorrect.

3. The code received is not working even if it is within the validity.

4. The code is proven to be fraudulently used

Q: I keyed in the incorrect recipient details. Can I transfer the gift card to another recipient?

A: No. Shopee Gift Cards are non-transferable. Please ensure you key in the correct recipient details before finalizing your order.

Q: Can I share the Shopee Gift Card Code with another person?

A: You can share the Shopee Gift Card Code with anyone, but it will be at your discretion as each code may only be redeemed once. There is an option for the buyer in the Order Details section to ‘Share Gift Card Code’ just in case the recipient loses or misplaces his/her code. Learn more here.

Q: Are there transaction fees?

A: Additional fees will be charged for every transaction made. This will vary per denomination of the Gift Card purchased.
