What happens if the delivery by the courier is unsuccessful?

If your delivery is unsuccessful, the courier will attempt redelivery.


  • First Delivery Attempt (Failed to Receive/Accept): Expect a redelivery within 2-3 days. Track your order in the app for updates.

  • Second Delivery Attempt or Refusal on First Attempt: The order will be canceled and tagged as Return to Sender (RTS).


Unsuccessful delivery attempts may occur due to:

  • Incomplete or invalid address

  • Temporarily inaccessible address

  • Closed delivery address (Shop or office)

  • Late delivery time

  • Rider was unable to contact the buyer

  • Buyer’s address is unidentifiable

  • Buyer requested to reschedule the delivery

  • Package rejected by buyer/receiver

  • Uncontrollable factors (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, unrest)

 

⚠️Note 

· Once your order is tagged as Return to Sender (RTS), it will not be eligible for redelivery.

· For Non-COD orders, you’ll receive a refund once the parcel is returned to the seller. Learn more about refunding canceled orders.

· Not all couriers send SMS or make calls before delivery, so track your parcel through the Shopee App. If you receive an SMS or call from the rider, you can contact them directly.

· For concerns about rider behavior, fake pick-up or delivery attempts, or incorrect order statuses, contact the courier directly or reach out to Customer Service.
