[ShopeePay] How do I verify my ShopeePay account?

⚠️ Note
All non-verified users are required to verify or submit additional information before July 18, 2024 to avoid losing access to ShopeePay services. 



Here are 2 ways to keep access to ShopeePay

1. Retain non-verified account by providing additional personal information

2. Verify your account by uploading an ID and confirming your personal information 

 

List of additional information required: 

- Place of Birth

- Date of Birth

- Nationality

- Industry

- Occupation

- Employer Name

- Employer

- Industry

- Occupation

- Civil Status

- Purpose of Account Opening

Fully Verify Your Account

Select ShopeePay wallet on the Shopee homepage > setting or  button > select ID Verification > fill in the necessary details > agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Reminders When Verifying Your Account

1. Fill in the details as shown on your ID.

2. Submit a clear picture of your ID and a picture of yourself holding your ID to help speed up the verification process.

3. For minors ages 13 to 17 years old, we require the necessary documents listed below. The requirements should be submitted in the Minor Request Form

- Birth certificate (PSA Copy)

- Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian 

- Valid ID of parent / legal guardian

- Proof of Guardianship (if applicable)

4. For non-citizens, please choose the appropriate ID type, "Alien Certificate of Registration." Ensure that both the front and back portions of your ID are uploaded.

5. If you have encountered unexpected errors or issues, we strongly recommend that you follow the basic troubleshooting tips.

 

 

⚠️Note

You'll receive a notification in your Shopee App informing you of the results. If your submission is rejected, you can try again based on the reason in the notification. For more help on verifying your account, you can contact Shopee Customer Service.
