Lowest Price Guaranteed (LPG) FAQs (ENG)

1. Who are Shopee's approved competitors?

As of the moment, the approved competitors for comparison are the following:

  1. Lazada
  2. Zalora

 

2. Can I compare items within Shopee?

Lowest Price Guarantee only compares against competitors and not within Shopee. As we are unable to control the prices of all sellers, Shopee can only guarantee items cheaper than our competitors.

 

3. Can I compare an item sold locally versus a product from overseas even if they are the same item?

Price comparisons are only allowed within the same point of origin only, (i.e local vs local and overseas vs overseas). Different points of origin directly affect product warranties and pricing mechanisms and, thus, are not covered by the program.

4. How will I be notified of my claim status?

You will receive an in-App notification regarding the feedback of your claim whether it is approved or rejected, within 2-3 weeks from the date of submission.

 

5. How much can I claim a day?

You are entitled to one (1) successful valid claim per month, with a maximum compensation amounting to 1,000 Shopee Coins (The standard currency for all items should be in Philippine Peso only).

⚠️ Note

• You can submit up to 3 claims per week with unique Order IDs. 

• Claims with duplicate order IDs would be deemed invalid.

6. How does Shopee include products as Low Price Guaranteed?

Shopee has a complex system that does price comparisons across our approved competitor(s).

 

After the system does the price comparison, we then carefully add identified low-priced products to the list.

 

The current list of Low Price Guaranteed items in Shopee continues to grow as we add new items to the list daily.

 

Aside from the system check, Shopee carefully reviews all submitted reports/claims and decides based on the terms and conditions whether the claim is accepted or rejected.

 

7. How to compute compensation for LPG claims?

Total compensation for a successful claim will be 120% of the price difference calculated above. Each claim is only eligible for a maximum of ₱1,000 compensation.

Coins can only be awarded to the users if he or she has already purchased the product in Shopee.

 

Award for a successful claim will be credited every Friday and is valid for two (2) months from the time of credit.
