Can I cancel my insurance policy and item protection? (ENG)

For SeaInsure Personal Accident (Personal Accident Cover, Ladies Cover, Kids Cover, Elders Cover) and SeaInsure Hospital Cash You can cancel your policy via the SeaInsure eService Portal within your Free-look period (10 days) after policy issuance, provided that you have not made a claim. If you cancel your policy within the Free-look period, we will refund your premium paid. 


⚠️Note

Tax incurred (premium tax and local business tax) are non-refundable and will be deducted from your premium refund payment. 


For Item Protection

Cancellation and refund vary depending on the availed protection service:


  • The Cracked Screen Protection Service can only be canceled after the delivery and receipt of the eligible item (i.e., completion of the order as shown on the Shopee platform).


  • The Electronics Protection Service can only be canceled after the delivery and receipt of the eligible electronic device (i.e., completion of the order as shown on the Shopee platform).


  • The Merchandise Protection Service can only be canceled after the delivery and receipt of the eligible item (i.e., completion of the order as shown on the Shopee platform).


  • The Gadget Protection can only be canceled after the delivery and receipt of the eligible gadget (i.e., completion of the order as shown on the Shopee platform).
