Why was my SLoan application rejected?

Your SPayLater and/or SLoan application was rejected due to discrepancies in the information provided. Please check the notification or the homepage banner for the specific reason.

 

Here are our recommendations to increase the likelihood of approval: 

  1. Ensure your ID photo is clear, with no obstructions (shadows, glare, flash, or damage).

  2. Have a valid ID physically present when applying.

  3. Provide accurate information that matches your valid government ID.

  4. Confirm that the person in the ID photo matches the one in the liveness check.

  5. If your ShopeePay wallet is activated, ensure your SLoan application details match your ShopeePay info.

  6. Avoid applying if you already have an active SPayLater or SLoan account—use the existing one instead.

  7. Increase your activity on Shopee:

    • Shop more frequently.

    • Activate and use ShopeePay for transfers, online payments, and QR payments.

    • Use digital payment methods (e.g., ShopeePay, e-wallets, or bank transfers) for purchases.

    • Pay bills and buy digital products on Shopee regularly.

 

While your credit account is unavailable, you can use alternative payment methods.

· Eligibility depends on Shopee's policies, internal strategies, and SPayLater Terms & Conditions.

· If reapplication fails, try basic troubleshooting (e.g., refresh the app). Contact Shopee Customer Service if the issue persists.

· Existing SPL users may be asked to update their ID if it has expired or is about to expire. Ensure you upload a valid government ID.
