To Open a SeaBank account using the mobile number registered with your Shopee account
In the SeaBank app, select Continue with Shopee > Continue > Enter your Mobile Number > Next > Enter SMS OTP > Create Password > Activate Biometrics (Optional)
⚠️Note • Make sure you have a Shopee account and you are logged in to your account in your Shopee App. • You can also open an account by tapping Sign Up with Mobile Number or Continue with Apple (for iPhone users). |
For Verification Process
Log in > Continue > select Start Facial Verification and follow Facial Verification instructions > Continue.
You’ll then be asked to upload your ID for proof of identification. Select ID Type > Take ID Photo > Enter identity details (this varies depending on the selected ID Type) > Enter additional Details > Review and Agree to Terms of Service > Create and confirm Secure PIN.
⚠️Note • If you submitted an ID without an address, you have to submit an alternative proof of address. • You may choose to upload a valid (issued within 1 year) NBI Clearance or any of the following documents under your name and dated within the last 3 months: utility bills, bank statements, insurance company statements, or Pag-IBIG statement of account. • You may also use your Shopee delivery address as proof of address if you have completed a minimum of 3 orders delivered to this address within the past 90 days. |
Once you have successfully submitted the proof of identity in the verification process, please wait for an in-app notification, email, or SMS from SeaBank, confirming your application status.
You may also check your application status by trying to log in to your SeaBank account.
Never share your SeaBank account password, Secure PIN, or One-time Password (OTP) to anyone! SeaBank representatives will never ask for your login credentials.
