[Return Refund] How long will it take for me to receive my refund? (ENG)

The refund process may differ depending on the item/service purchased. Learn more about refunds for physical products and perishable goods.


For successful refund requests

Upon refund request approval, the refund will then be credited depending on the payment method used:

When will the refund arrive?

Credit Card/Debit Card/Google Pay 

The refund will be credited to the card used within 5 to 45 business days, depending on the billing cycle of your card.  

ShopeePay, Cash-on-delivery (COD), and Other Payment Channels

The refund will be credited to your ShopeePay account within 24-48 hours for regular refunds, and 4-7 business days for partial refunds.


You can then use the refund for future purchases or withdraw it after you have updated your bank account details. Learn more about refunds via ShopeePay.

SPayLater

If you requested a return/refund for an order paid via SPayLater, the refund would be directly credited to your SPayLater wallet after processing. SPayLater funds will be credited back within 24 - 48 hours if the buyer managed to request return/refund within the Shopee Guarantee period. If refund has to be filed manually, 5 - 7 business days will be the crediting timeframe.


⚠️ Note

For full amount refunds, it will be reflected on your SPayLater wallet and the adjustment/s will be reflected on your future billings. And for partial refunds, only the principal loan amount will be refunded to your SPayLater wallet.

Combined payment (SPayLater + other payment methods)

The amount paid via SPayLater will be credited/refunded back to your SPayLater wallet after processing.

Remaining amount paid using other payment methods will be refunded as follows:

·Paid via ShopeePay/Linked BPI account/E-wallet/COD/Online Banking  > Refund will be credited to your ShopeePay wallet


You will be notified via in-app notification and email once your refund is processed. 



For unsuccessful refund requests

If your return/refund request is unsuccessful, the order will resume its Shopee Guarantee and be completed when the Shopee Guarantee period ends. Payment will only be released to the seller if the dispute concludes in favor of the seller.


The release of payment to Sellers may take up to 1 month if a dispute was raised against the return/refund request.
